The visitors of Bidiyah camp will be able to
visit many places such as Bidiyah fort and other
surrounding villages. These villages are surrounded
by sand dunes which gives a stunning view. You
also get a chance to visit very old villages
like Al-Heily, Al-Debik and Al-Hatooh. Certainly
these trips will give you a better insight into
the heritage of Oman.
Bidiyah is in the midst of many tourist places
such as Wadi Bani Khalid which is about 25 Kms
away from the camp. It has a pool and beautiful
locales. This makes Bidiyah even more luring.
Every weekend, there are adventurous activities
such as camel racing, horse racing, and four
wheel drive on the sand for cultural lovers.
The camp also organizes trips to the nearby
places like Ras Al Had, Ras Al Jins and Al-Ashkhara.
Besides, there is a visit to Sur and to the
factory which manufactures traditional ships
and boats.
